Japan losing trust in the U.S.

Filed under: Korea — fuga @ 4:03 am

I’m beginning to see more signs here and there….(*) But this is nowhere near anti-anything. It is more like a self-reliance. I’m not sure this is good thing or not.

Politically speaking, it’s about North Korea and China. But, it’s not really the biggest reason for normal Japanese in general.

The biggest reason is this.

Here are the guys who are challenging the U.S. – Japan relation.

  • China and Rep. Mike Honda
  • North Korea and Mr.Hill

I’ll elaborate more on this topic later. Depending on how the U.S. reacts for these matters, it could change the way Japan sees the U.S.

  1. Mystery of The Korea Fantasy

To archive denuclearizing of North Korea, it is important to express stronger political will, such as:

Resignation of Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill
Activation of the sanction committee of the UN Security Council Resolution 1718
